Since its inception in 1949, IAC Acoustics has epitomized excellence, innovation, and resilience. Over the past 75 years, the company has built a reputation as a trusted and respected resource within the acoustical community, adeptly navigating the ever-evolving industry landscape, while upholding its core values and uncompromising standards.

Throughout its illustrious history, IAC Acoustics has remained at the forefront of the acoustic products and solutions market. The company’s diverse expertise has grown into four divisions: Industrial, Architectural, Medical, and HVAC.

• The Industrial Division tackles in-plant and environmental noise control challenges with an impressive array of products, including Acoustic Test Chambers, Interior & Exterior Enclosures, Doors, Panels, and Noise Barriers.
• The Architectural Division excels in providing a wide range of interior noise solutions, encompassing Doors, Windows, Music Practice Rooms, Studios, and Secure Facilities.
• The Medical Division provides noise control solutions for the healthcare industry, including Audiology Booths, Mini-Acoustical Chambers, and Sound-Isolated Rooms.
• The HVAC Division specializes in mitigating noise from heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems through Acoustical Silencers, Plenums, and Louvers.

A significant development came in December 2015 when IAC Acoustics was acquired by Sound Seal, leading to the relocation of our manufacturing operations to North Aurora, Illinois. This strategic move has fortified IAC Acoustics' leadership position in the noise control industry.

The momentum continued in January 2020 with the announcement by The Stephens Group of the formation of Catalyst Acoustics Group, a formal corporation encompassing IAC Acoustics and Sound Seal as member brands. Catalyst Acoustics Group has since expanded to nine brands, establishing itself as an elite collective of acoustic, seismic, vibration, and noise control companies offering the most comprehensive portfolio of noise control solutions in the market today.
