Isolating Operators, Employees & Personnel
Isolating Operators, Employees & Personnel
Isolating people is typically done when personnel require substantial protection from excessive noise levels where the noise cannot be cost-effectively reduced at the source, where no single piece of equipment can be identified or easily treated, or where a particular process needs to be performed by an employee in a controlled sound isolated environment. There are many other benefits associated with isolating people, such as controlling air quality, temperature, lighting and security.
IAC Acoustics provides a variety of designs and structures to achieve this using one or more of our pre-engineered product solutions:
- In-Plant Offices, Pulpits, Quiet Rooms and Booths
- Pre-Assembled Personnel Structures and Portable Solutions
In-Plant Offices, Pulpits, Quiet Rooms and Booths
IAC Acoustics Moduline® product line consists of pre-engineered, modular acoustical components (“building blocks”) that can be configured and assembled into a wide variety of structures that control and reduce excessive noise levels in industrial, commercial, institutional and community environments. Moduline® is particularly suitable for creating quiet spaces for employees in industrial, commercial, construction, transportation, and other environments. In-plant employee offices, shelters, break rooms, QC booths and process control rooms are just some examples of what can be efficiently constructed using our modular system.
Pre-Assembled Personnel Structures and Portable Solutions
IAC Acoustics Pre-Assembled Structures provide an excellent way to create a sound isolated space for operators and personnel where it is undesirable or impossible to build the solution on site. These structures are typically provided as complete stand-alone units with vibration isolated floors, acoustical walls & ceiling, doors, windows, lighting, electric and climate control. Our pre-assembled units are portable and self-contained; usually only requiring an electrical power hook-up upon delivery. There are limitless design and configuration options available to meet any operational requirements.
