Highlights from a Year Filled with Many High Points
2022 ushered in some change and successes at IAC. As we look back on this year, we can’t help but remember all that we accomplished. Read on for some select highlights.
Noise-Lock® Doors at The Foundry in Cambridge, Massachusetts
One of The Foundry’s larger spaces, located directly adjacent to a city street, required access for large items and requested a 10’ W x 12’ H stage door while maintaining the target acoustic performance and necessary egress.
Noise-Lock® Doors & Windows at Community College of Philadelphia
A renovation project on the Community College of Philadelphia campus included the construction of a new music studio space. Metropolitan Acoustics, the acoustical consultant and VSBA Architects & Planners specified the IAC products for both a new live room and control room. J.A. Brown, IAC’s exclusive representative in Pennsylvania, answered the call and provided a delivered and installed scope.
Acoustic Test Enclosure at Fisher Dynamics
Fisher Dynamics, an automotive seat manufacturer, needed to perform acoustic measurements with a low noise electrodynamic shaker by MB Dynamics. The measurement space performance requirements were very strict to capture small buzz, squeak, and rattle (BSR) noises from tested products under specific vibration excitation profiles.

IAC Acoustics supplied a hemi-anechoic testing facility that met all the customer requirements for sound transmission loss, and acoustic absorption requirements.
